Department of Physiology :

Introduction :
Department of Physiology at Government Medical College, Mahasamund came into existence in year 2021. One of the major subjects of undergraduate medical education plays major role to get knowledge of normal physiology of different systems of human body & pathology related & forming a base for medical students. The department offers CBME based medical education to students of MBBS 1st Prof.

Facilities :
The department consist of equipped lab for performing Hematology experiments and Clinical Physiology lab with major equipment, consisting ofMultichannel polygraph, ECG machine(12 leads), students physiograph (for ECG, EMG and EEG), student’s spirometer & digitalspirometer, Perimeter, BMR apparatus, Microscope etc. CAL lab.
